  3. Thanks very much for following my site: http://www.thetravellingtwin.com. I’m from Vancouver, Canada, and have found your blog really helpful and also very inspirational – 100 countries – AMAZING!!

Keep travelling, diving and posting, I can’t wait to read more . . . and hopefully meet you one day, somewhere in the world, for a dive!

    Cheers,

ps: I’m currently in Sanur, Bali, Indonesia. Been diving at Padang Bai, Tulamben, and Amed . . . Nusa Penida and the Gili’s next week!

    1. Hope your travels are going well! Are you still in Asia? We were just there for the last two weeks and we dove in Mabul and Sipadan and had an amazing time. If you’re still traveling, we’re jealous. 😀

      1. They are indeed! Finally getting off Gili T after a huge storm has been here all week. Just on my way home though, a week in San Francisco and then back to Vancouver. Been a bit dissappointed by Bali’s diving, but I’m hoping to come back next year for Nyepi and get some better weather and viz – happy diving! :o)

      2. I dove at Padang Bai: Blue Lagoon and Jepun Bali; Tulamben: Dropoff Wall, Coral Gardens and two on the Liberty; Ahmed: The Wall and Pyramid Point; Nusa Lembongen: Lembongen Point and Peds Point . . . Nusa Lembongen was definitely the highlight, though I did manage to find some cool stuff on the other sites . . . the viz just wasn’t what I’m used to for tropical sites (practically infinite blue water, like at Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea) and the sites were often quite dark due to the weather (mostly overcast) and the dark, volcanic sand and silt.
At Gili T I did the Bounty Wreck, but again, the viz was quite poor and the life was not as abundant as I’d hoped.

      3. Your note about Bali surprises us. When we went diving there, we dove the following sites :

        – Nusa Dua Point
        – Blue Lagoon
        – Mini Wall
        – Manta Point (BEST DIVE EVER!)
        – SD Point
        – Liberty Wreck
        – Tulamben Drop Off

They were all amazing. We went in the month of June, so maybe that had something to do with it. We would love to go back and dive some of those again.

love your posts- you were linked to my blog (i sent a link to yours as well) – recently I moved from WP.com to self hosting and and a number of the links were lost or broken along with subs- you are no longer subscribed and it appears that the linkback you had in place is corrupt. if you want to re-establish site name is the same on the new host http://www.divingagain.com – just put up my dive bucket list and will be starting on my new reg and computer mission coverage.

    best
    ed diving again
